Greencrest is under new ownership and they have done a wonderful job of freshening up the place and making it a delightful place to say. The service was friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable and clean. Couldn't ask for anything more!

The place is GORGEOUS. It is obvious the owners have put their life work into restoring and maintaining the beautiful gardens and endless sitting areas. We went for our anniversary and were very pleased with the sprawling decor - there's a private nook or cranny around every corner. It felt very private and she even has little snacks set out. It only gets four stars because A) there's nothing to do in Battle Creek besides the B&B. For a more typical B&B area with antiques & eateries and such, you'll have to drive to South Haven etc. B) The owner's husband Tom was curt on the phone when I asked him about the price discrepancy between what he was telling me and their website clearly states. I thought about canceling, but I was too lazy. C) The mattress in our room was cheap and hard. Overall, it really does feel like you're own home and it is quite beautiful. Breakfast was gourmet!
